Business System Administrator – Training Management System

Review:
Business System Administrator – Training Management System is responsible for assisting subject matter experts on how to use technology systems to perform their work more efficiently, address technical issues, and provide administrative and management support for training management systems, SharePoint, Office 365 and other systems. . . This role will help in identifying integration points and roadmap needs between systems and developing SOPs and best practices on how and when to use each system. In addition, this role will help in identifying road map components for internal use as well as requests from vendors who develop these platforms. Ultimately, this role drives initiatives to improve the user experience of the system and its implementation.

Technical support and platform experience in one or more of the following
• Education management system
• CRM
• Office 365 and SharePoint
• Webinar platforms
• Third party integration
Administrative support
• Serve as a primary IT contact for boards, providing technical assistance for import tickets and issues related to the use of business systems under the role responsibility.
• Support for webinars, including HQ webinars for councils, trainings, and more.
• Assistance in managing the content of the Council Portal and providing assistance to HQ users
• Collaborate with product development teams, participate in product testing, and provide feedback as needed.
• Create and maintain management documents when releasing new features
• Content contribution to the technical support knowledge base
• Manage user access and assign roles to these systems based on management
• Manage the technical support process with platform vendors
Training
The following components apply to all software supported by the Business Systems Administrator:
• Work with the programming and evaluation department, training and development department and subject experts to ensure proper user training in systems
• Stay up-to-date on the latest product releases and make recommendations on which publications are best for the organization.
• Communicate to provide advice on how to use new and existing software tools.
• Assist in writing / updating training manuals, user manuals, and other training materials
• Identify top users from the field and use them to test new features, train other users
System administration
• Upload and verify content and / or information
• Maintain content in accordance with documentation and / or management document management policies
• Identify the right tools for listing and retrieving content based on employee accessibility
• Manage user access to the system, including cross-platform APIs, user upload / activation, and password recovery.
• Create curriculum paths and schedule training
• Monitor system usage and report if necessary
• Work with a data and analysis team to obtain data to ensure timely reporting and business intelligence needs
Organizational support
• Promotion of initiatives and projects on technology implementation, system improvement and cross-sectoral projects with technological component
• Assist in managing vendor relationships, including regular meetings with vendors, reporting system updates to vendors, spreading issues with vendors, and discussing future strategies with vendors
Technical support
• Serve the technical support team as a backup so that:
• Manage service tickets
• Telephone system management for HQ
• Prepare workstations and system access for new users

Required experience:
• Three years experience in system configuration, business analysis and / or service desk
• Three years experience in managing customer systems
• Ability to quickly learn new software
• Ability to work with users of all skill levels
• Experience using Microsoft Office products
• Experience with one or more of the following:
• Learning management systems
• Microsoft SharePoint
• Office 365
• Strong focus on end user / customer service

Compensation and benefits:
This position offers $ 22-26 / hour compensation depending on experience. In addition, Girls on the Run International offers a generous PTO plan, a package of benefits including by the company medical and dental benefits, vision coverage, life insurance and paid medical leave, and a 401k plan with employer approval. This position is 40 hours a week and is completely remote. The selected candidate must currently reside in one of the following states or plan to relocate to one of the following states: California, Connecticut, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Wisconsin.
