Tottenham Hotspur have one of the best managers in the business in Antonio Conte.
However, speculation linking the Spurs boss with Juventus has been doing the rounds recently.
According to the Daily Mail, Juve director Pavel Nedved would like to bring the Tottenham coach back to Turin.
And Il Bianconero has reported that Conte ‘would gladly return’ to the club he played for and subsequently managed.
Juventus are in crisis, having won just two of their opening seven games in Serie A so far this season.
They are currently eighth in the table and seven points adrift of leaders Napoli.
Manager Massimiliano Allegri is coming under increasing pressure.
And were he to lose his job, it remains to be seen whether Juve will approach Conte, and whether he fancies a return.
According to Italian outlet CMW, there could be further issues for Tottenham beyond losing a top manager.
They claim that, were Conte to swap Spurs for Juve, Son Heung-min would become one of their primary targets.
“He’s world class”
Son has been sensational for Tottenham over the years and, surprisingly, there hasn’t been much speculation over his future.
Until now, that is.
Even when Son had a blip in form in the early stages of the season, he quickly proved the naysayers wrong.
He came off the bench against Leicester to score a sensational hat-trick en route to a 6-2 win last weekend.
Gary Neville has previously called him “unbelievable” and “world-class”. But, because he’s also “understated”, he doesn’t grab the headlines.
While this has suited Spurs fans just fine for the most part, a player of his quality surely won’t go under the radar of potential suitors for much longer.
