Dan Nlundulu has taken to Twitter to send a message to Bolton Wanderers’ fans after sealing a switch to League One outfit.
As confirmed by Bolton’s official website, Nlundulu has joined the club on a temporary deal from Southampton for the remainder of the campaign.
The forward spent the first half of the 2022/23 season on loan at Cheltenham Town.
During this particular spell, Nlundulu managed to find the back of the net on four occasions in League One while he also chipped in with three assists.
Nlundulu made his final appearance for Cheltenham last weekend as the club suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Morecambe.
Whereas Nlundulu will not be available for selection for Bolton’s EFL Trophy clash with Portsmouth this evening due to the fact that he has already played in this competition this season for the Robins, he could potentially make his debut on Saturday.
Currently fifth in League One, Bolton will be hoping that Nlundulu will be able to help them qualify for the play-offs later this year.
Reflecting on his move to Bolton on Twitter, Nlundulu has revealed that he cannot wait to play in front of the club’s supporters.
The 23-year-old posted: “Delighted to join @OfficialBWFC for the rest of the season!
“Can’t wait to play in front of the amazing supporters!”

The Verdict
This could turn out to be a clever bit of business by Bolton as Nlundulu managed to show some real signs of promise during his spell at Cheltenham.
Having featured on 23 occasions in League One already this season, the forward will fancy his chances of hitting the ground running at his new club.
As well as being directly involved in seven goals at this level for Cheltenham, Nlundulu also managed to win 2.3 aerial duels per fixture as he averaged a respectable WhoScored match rating of 6.71 at this level.
Nlundulu’s arrival at the University of Bolton Stadium may force the likes of Dion Charles, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and Amadou Bakayoko to step up their performance levels which in turn could lead to Wanderers regularly picking up positive results in the third-tier.
