During a camp at EFSC last summer, the Titan Cheerleaders won a bronze-level bid for the national event, which included two NCA instructors who evaluated their camp routine.

They practiced for months documented on their @EFSCCheer Instagram.

“The team is excited to compete and represent Eastern Florida State College at the 2022 NCA College Nationals in Daytona Beach,” said Ashley Olund, EFSC Associate Professor who coaches the team with Jessica Matheny.

“We are very grateful to EFSC, our administration and our student government for helping make this dream a reality!”

The cheerleaders are selected through an annual tryout process, in which they perform at multiple college athletics games and represent EFSC at other college and community events.

Spectator tickets for the championship can be purchased for $ 25 per day on Thursdays and Fridays and $ 10 per day on Saturdays and $ 50 for a three-day event. Seating is provided first and foremost.
