Hewitt-Trussville new class 7A no. 1 in the ASWA high school baseball rankings

Hewitt-Trussville is the only new No. 1 team in this week’s ASWA High School Baseball standings.

Class 7A Hewitt-Trussville (17-1) took first place when the former no. 1 Auburn lost a few matches, shared a double-header with a first-class Hartselle in class 6A and also lost to Dothan.

Hewitt-Trussville’s only defeat came on March 5 with Central-Phenix City, having won eight in a row. Huskies are national number 23 MaxPreps ranking.

Other teams no. 1 is Class 5A Shelby County, Class 4A Mobile Christian, Class 3A Plainview, Class 2A GW Long, Class 1A Bayshore Christian and AISA Pike Liberal Arts.
