CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System has opened its 2035 classroom on Thursday evening in elementary schools.

Students and families were privileged to meet the kindergarten teachers and tour the school, to help the children feel comfortable for the upcoming school year. Zoom information sessions were also provided for families with kindergarten students enrolled in CMCSS K-12 Virtual.

At Moore Magnet Elementary School, principal Kelsey Cox said they visited about 60 children at the school, where the children participated in the STEM Challenge, and discovered how learning can be fun.

“Tonight, we welcome our newest Blue Jays for the 2022-23 school year,” Cox said. “We want students to get excited about kindergarten and learn about Moore’s heart.”

The first half day will be on August 8th.
