It’s time to order your tickets to this year’s most anticipated gala event, the Library Affairs, on April 9 from 6:00 to 8:30 pm at the Pagosa Lakes Property Owners’ Union Club. House, located at 230 Port Avenue.
Not only will you enjoy delicious food, a cash bar and beautiful music, you will also have the opportunity to bid on seventeen highly creative decorated dining tables that are imaginative. Each of these tables has a book theme in honor of our Ruby Season Memorial Library. The winning bidder allows the bidder to bring home all the contents of the table, from bowls, silver, and glass bowls to specially designed centerpieces for the event.
How would you describe Maurice Sandak’s “Where’s the Wild Thing?” Decorate the table based on? Let your imagination run wild. Whatever comes to your mind, go further. Chances are you won’t get close to Thingamajig Theater designer Laura Moore or her co-designer, Tanya Quinn, the designer for Thingamajig. “We can’t stop,” says the mother. “We’re coming up with new ideas. It’s so exciting!”
This seems to be the consensus of all makeup artists. Books naturally give our minds the opportunity to travel to different lands, different life situations, different times. Fortunately, you don’t have to wait until the big event to vote on your favorite book themed table decorations. For just $ 1 per vote, you can get a secret look at the tables and cast your vote for the design of your choice. The table designers who received the most votes online won the prestigious Pagosa Platzar Award. Winners will be announced at the library.
Tables will be fully on display at the event. You will have the opportunity to inspect each and bid for all the contents of your favorite tables. You will undoubtedly be amazed at the creative beauty and ingenuity of these fascinating creations.
The event is being written by generous sponsors so that almost all proceeds from the event go to the Library Development Fund. Tickets for the event are $ 50 each. You can vote, buy tickets, donate, and learn more about future library development on this website.
Tickets are also available at the library (cash or check only).
Come and enjoy a great evening in support of the Ruby Season Memorial Library, one of the largest treasures of Pagosa Springs. You can go home with your treasures, if you are the highest bidder at a high table. We hope to see you there.
