Senior Ya’jaia Goudeau of North Central and La’Bree Williams Jr. from Calvary Baptist have achieved a lot during their legendary high school basketball career.
And there are other awards for both players after the stellar senior seasons.
Goudeau and Williams are the headlines of the national teams of the 1A Class 1A of the Louisiana Sports Writers Association as the winners of the Outstanding Player Award from a selection of writers from across the state.
Goudeau led the Canes to a 23-9 record and their fifth title run in nine seasons averaging 27.6 points, eight assists, seven gains and six rebounds for second place in 1A.
