Monessen’s students learn “positive power”

It was attended by district leaders, members of the Monesen Police Department, representatives from the University of California, Pennsylvania, Seton Hill University, care communities, and more.

Students learn positive power in a Monese High School program. Through the Monessen Action Positive Action program at the school through a partnership between the Monesen School District, the Monesen Public Library, Caring Communities, and the University of California, Pennsylvania, a group of approximately 26 students valued positive choices over negative actions and reactions. On Wednesday, the school, city and stakeholders of the program sat down for lunch at the high school to talk about its successes, the new grant funding they want to achieve, and what the children expect from the program.
