NESCAC win over Connecticut College for men’s tennis posts

The Hamilton College Continentals won 8-1 NESCAC against the Connecticut College camels inside the Margaret Bundy Scott Field House in Hamilton on Sunday.

The Continentals, ranked 18th in the region, improved their overall record to 5-2 and tied the conference record at 1-1. Hamilton plays another NESCAC match on Saturday, April 2 at 10 a.m. at Colby College in Waterville, Maine.

Connor Griff ’25, Eric Stein ’23 And Joe Rainer ’22 They won their singles and doubles matches for the Continentals. Griffin, ranked 24th in the North East Regional Singles of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, has a 9-3 record. Rainer improved his career singles record to 31-14.

Nicholas Grits ’25 He lost just one game in his fourth flight singles match Gianni Esposito ’24 With the victory in the fifth flight singles, they improved to 8-1 this season. Mark Apsy ’25 The sixth flight was won in straight sets in singles.

Griff et al Matt Bartok ’23 He lost just one game in the first flight doubles. Rainer and Steyn teamed up for the second flight doubles and won as a pair for the first time this season.
