A series of summer camps are planned to offer jumpstarts to college graduates or the dental profession

Students enrolled in high school in 2022 will be able to achieve a leap in their college degrees through Clarkmas Community College’s summer camp programs – tuition-free. CCC offers Career Technical Education (CTE) camps and a dental profession camp.

CTE Camps August. 15-19, 9 am-3 pm Get college credit at one of CCC’s CTE camps. CTE Summer Camps are open to Clockmas County students entering grades 9 through 12. Lunch will be provided and transportation assistance from student high school to college is available. The last date to register is June 10th.Free CTE Camps include: Web Design – Learn how to design and create web pages, including an introduction to JavaScript, graphics and animation. Learn how. Invention – Discover the art of invention through hand-on operations using laser cutters and 3D printers. Horticulture: Kitchen Plants â € “Learn how to prepare and use common kitchen herbs in a variety of edible forms. Horticulture – Horticulture and Agriculture: Develop and study the principles and best practices of organic fruit and vegetable gardens. Medical Assistant – Learn about it. The skills and attributes of a successful medical assistant as they explore a patient – centered health care career. ation partnerships. All CTE Summer Camps except Medical Assistant will be held on the Oregon City Campus at Clockmas Community College. The Medical Assistant Camp is being held at the Harmony Campus in Milwaukee.

Summer Camp for Dental Professions May 2-14 or June 18-23; Times vary and students interested in a career in the dental field can kickstart their education at a virtual dental professions camp. This summer camp is open to Clackamas County students who will be finishing ninth grade to 12th grade in the spring of 2022. Students who successfully complete the camp will receive. The $ 5,000 scholarship will be used for health science programs. The last date to register is April 15.

Camp features include: • Virtual Field Trips / Tours – Dental Lab, Independent Hygiene Training, Humanitarian Organization. • Panel Discussions – Learn about the work perspective of the dental profession with area dental employers.
