Touch of class from Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou delights shocked supporter.

As you’ll know by now, Ange Postecoglou is currently taking part in a Sydney media tour ahead of Celtic’s meeting with Everton in Australia later this year.

And one young supporter got more than he bargained for when he visited the Allianz Stadium, where the Bhoys take on the English Premier League side.

In August, Ben Calleja dressed up as Postecoglou and presented his book ‘Changing The Game’ as part of a school project, which went viral online. This week he was flown out to Sydney this week to talk about that, but ended up meeting the great man himself.

Apparently arranged in conjunction with the club and Celtic TV, the young fan actually got to interview Postecoglou, turning the tables on Calleja, who himself thought he was there to be interviewed!

His father, Jason, proudly told the tale on Twitter, with many fans all over the world getting in touch to share their delight with the moment.

It’s a touch of class from the club and from Postecoglou, as they continue to promote the upcoming two matches against the Toffees and Sydney FC.

The meeting is likely to be remembered by the youngster forever and it’s great to see the manager take time to have such an influence on a supporter.

Since arriving in Glasgow, Postecoglou has been superb at forging relationships and connections with fans, whether en masse or on a one-to-one basis. He’s had the backing of fans from day one and in turn, he has delivered success and thrilling football.

With interest in Celtic from Australians at an all-time high, moments like this will only create more buzz about the ongoing relationship between the club and Postecoglou’s homeland. Superb!
