Plattville, Wis. – Edgewood College Women’s Track & Field Program visited UW-Platteville on Friday and performed various individual best performances throughout the day. The 3,000-meter steeplechase is the third-best time in school history Rachel Erhart And a great performance from Alli Verbowede In the 5,000 meter race.
How it happened
– Verbowede set the second-best time in school history in the 5,000-meter race. Verbowede’s time of 17: 37.93 was the best for 15th place, a personal best, just seven seconds from the school record set by Piper Atnip in 2017.
– Rachel Erhart Participated for the first time in the 3,000m steeplechase and recorded the third best time in school history. At 12: 01.53 she finished third, well enough for a spot in the Honor role.
– Irene Erhart The Eagles led the trio in the 1,500 meters. Erhart clocked 5: 20.16 to finish 13th in the event. Samantha Henry (6: 03.76) and Casey Raddle (6: 05.98) ran over 1,500 on Friday.
– Lindsay Laborder She finished eighth in the 400m hurdles. Labord recorded a time of 1: 10.61 in the event.
– Emily Austin, Samantha HenryAnd Casey Raddle Each competed in the 800-meter race on Friday. While Austin finished in 2: 44.33, Henry found the individual best time of 2: 56.11. Raddle was out of the race at 3: 05.19.
– Caroline Evers And Trinity Berg Both won a place in the 400-meter race. Caroline Evers Finished 1: 05.29, good for 21st place. Berg finished 23rd in 1: 07.50 minutes.
– Trinity Berg, Emily Austin, Rachel ErhartAnd Caroline Evers Competed for the Eagles in the 4x400m relay. All four finished ninth in 4: 28.00.

– Edgewood College will go to Wisconsin Lutheran College next Saturday for a green & white invitation. The meet will take place at the Rabe Stadium in Vavatosa, Wiss.
