Verbowede and Erhart Pace Eagles at UW Platteville

Plattville, Wis. – Edgewood College Women’s Track & Field Program visited UW-Platteville on Friday and performed various individual best performances throughout the day. The 3,000-meter steeplechase is the third-best time in school history Rachel Erhart And a great performance from Alli Verbowede In the 5,000 meter race.

How it happened
– Verbowede set the second-best time in school history in the 5,000-meter race. Verbowede’s time of 17: 37.93 was the best for 15th place, a personal best, just seven seconds from the school record set by Piper Atnip in 2017.

Rachel Erhart Participated for the first time in the 3,000m steeplechase and recorded the third best time in school history. At 12: 01.53 she finished third, well enough for a spot in the Honor role.

Irene Erhart The Eagles led the trio in the 1,500 meters. Erhart clocked 5: 20.16 to finish 13th in the event. Samantha Henry (6: 03.76) and Casey Raddle (6: 05.98) ran over 1,500 on Friday.

Lindsay Laborder She finished eighth in the 400m hurdles. Labord recorded a time of 1: 10.61 in the event.
