Weekly Recap: L’Oréal Acquires Skinbetter Science, Cher Launches Fragrance Collection & More

There were multiple major developments at L’Oréal last week. First, L’Oréal USA announced it is building a new, state-of-the-art Research & Innovation (R&I) Center in Clark, New Jersey, replacing its existing facilities that it has occupied in the area for more than six decades. Also, L’Oréal signed an agreement to acquire Skinbetter Science, a physician-dispensed American skincare brand backed by dermatological science, combining patented efficacious ingredients with luxurious sensorial textures.
